Sopore : The authorities on Saturday declared Mohallas/Villages in Sopore as micro-containment zones after suspected COVID-19 cases were reported from there, officials said on Saturday.
In view of prevailing situation and detection of positive cases of COVID-19, the Mohallas that include Noor Bagh, Badam Bagh, Iqbal Nagar and Model town and villages include Krankshivan, Doabgah and Tujjer are declared micro-containment zone and consequently there shall be no inward or outward movement of any person(s) from the Zone and the people shall stay indoors strictly,” said the official.
Further Surrounding areas are declared as buffer zones and the inhabitants of these areas shall also restrict their movement and shall not allow relatives visitors to visit their homes, he said.
Moreover, Tehsildar concerned shall act as Administrator for red and buffer zones declared as indicated above,” he added.
All the officers of the line shall ensure basic facilities including food grains, L.P.G, medicines etc in these areas zones.
Meanwhile official said, any person/group/organizations found involved in breeching this order shall be booked under law.
