Sopore, 05 April : Police on Monday claimed to have arrested an Over Ground Worker of TRF militant outfit along with Incriminating material in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
An official said, a joint team of Sopore Police, 22 Rashtriya Rifles and 179 Battalion of Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) established a naka Model town crossing Sopore.
Upon checking an Hard Core Over Ground Worker of The Resistance Front (TRF) was apprehended, official said.
He identified the arrested OGW as Ihsaan Ul Haq Khanday son of Nazir Ahmed Khanday a resident of Faisalabad Sopore at present Nowpora Kalan.
Incriminating material including a letter pad of TRF militant outfit was recovered from his possession, official added.
Meanwhile a case FIR NO. 82/2021 U/S 13 ULA (P), 506 IPC in this regard stands registered in P/S Sopore and further investigation is going on.
