The road between watnad and Badderhallan in Anantnag district is in bad condition with authorities watching as mute spectators.
The road was macdamized by the Roads and Buildings Department in 2020.
However after few months of macdamization, the road developed potholes and cracks within a month and still are in bad condition which worsens the adjacent people.
Locals told that RandB department have macdamized the 2 kms length road but without utilsation of proper funds on it which costs 1.88 lacs and still cause inconvenience to the people.The bad condition of Watnard Badderhalan road is causing immense inconvenience to commuters.
“This road is turning into the deadliest road where many accidents took place. People prefer to walk instead of travelling in a vehicle,”locals added
“The children and patients are suffered immensely as the road has developed ditches at many spots,” another local said.Locals have appealed authorities to rectify the road as they face many problems in their daily life.
