Anantnag ,24 April 2021:Frequent damage to the Power transformer in Khan Mohalla/Shaksaz Mohalla & Khazir Shah Area of Achabal irks consumers.
As per locals Khan Mohalla ,Shaksaz Mohallah & Khazir Shah Mohallah transformer installed after repairment damages second time a week which supplies electricity to some 200-300 households reels residents under darkness from past 8 days
Locals urged on the Power Development department (PDD) to repair the transformer immediately and threatened to protest in case the issue was not attended to immediately.
Due to the power outage in the area, local residents said, people are facing massive inconvenience during the month of Ramadan.
People are paying the tariff regularly they have been deprived of electricity in the holy month of Ramadan,” added a local resident.
