Ramban, Apr, 25: Heavy rains last week have caused extensive damage in many areas of Ramban district, where residential houses have been damaged and dozens of kanals of land have become uncultivable.
Ramban’s Peerah and Dhalwas are also affected by the rains. Fruit trees and plants have been uprooted. Some residential houses have also been damaged. On the other hand, dozens of kanals of land have become uncultivable due to which the victims are facing many difficulties.
Although the source of income for the people was agriculture and horticulture, the adverse weather conditions have dashed people’s hopes.
The victims have demanded government assistance from the Lt. Governors Administration so that the victims do not have to go through any hardships
