Kupwara, : The founder of Srinagar based news agency GNS and daily newspaper Kashmir Glory, Tanveer Ul Ahad was Tuesday remembered on his first death anniversary.
Tanveer Ul Ahad, a resident of Muqam Shahwali in border district of Kupwara passed away on this day last year after a brief illness at SMHS Srinagar.
A family member of Tanvir said that special prayers were held at their home but due to the COVID-19 the program was restricted to very few individuals mainly relatives and family members.
In his native district, Journalists and Writers Association Kupwara (JWAK) paid rich tributes to Tanveer and prayed for the highest standards in Heavens for the departed soul.
