Voice calls, internet totally out of service
Handwara, June 26: With the poor internet services in Nowgam village of Lanagate area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, the Jio and Airtel cellular company has come under severe criticism with the users, alleging it to be a reason of immense hardships.
The users from the area said that the poor internet connotation has resulted in immense hardships to the people especially the student community for online classes, as there is need of new tower site for the area.
They said that the voice calls,2G, 4G and 3G are not working in the area at all.
“The tower has been installed in Reshwari area but unfortunately, the services are still distant dream for the users of our area including base camp of BSF, Beacon and Nowgam Brigade” they added.
The users said that the officials are paying no heed over the sufferings of people. “We approached the concerned officials personally or by media highlights several times and urged them to redress our grievances but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard,” they added.
They later urged the higher ups to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earliest so that the users there could feel a sigh of relief.
