As part of South Kashmir Sports Festival 2021, 55 RR and Shahid Lala Committee are conducting “Kashmir Premier League”, an Inter District Cricket Tournament at Pulwama Cricket Stadium. A total of 64 teams are participating in this Knock Out Format 20-20 tournament which commenced on 16 August 2021.
After the initial rounds, “SUPER 16” were selected for the quarter final matches which culminated on 22 August 2021. Semifinal matches of this exciting tournament will be conducted on 23 August 2021 and the final match will be conducted on 25 August 2021. The exciting format and nail biting finish to the matches have drawn huge crowds to the stadium.
Winners and Runners Ups will be felicitated in a mega event to be conducted in Batpora Stadium, Shopian on 31 August 2021. In addition to the trophies, prizes are also being awarded in various categories like Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Fielder, Special awards for Century and Hattrick as well as a unique prize “Bulls Eye” in which any batsman hitting a designated target in the stands is given an on the spot cash prize of Rs 500.
