Special NIA Court Frames Charge Sheet against Dukhtarn-e-Millat Chief Asiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen, Sofi Fahmeeda and other 6 accused.

Srinagar:- NIA Court of South Kashmir (Anantnag) has framed charges against Dukhtarn-e-Millat Chief Asiya Andrabi and other 8 Persons including Nahida Nasreen and Sofi Fahmeeda. The charges were framed in the court of Javaid Aalam, Special Judge designated under NIA Act through video conferencing. The charges were framed after a gap of almost 3 years in case of FIR No. 60/2018 of Police Station Anantnag under section 147, 148, 149, 341, 336, 307, 427, 120-B RPC 3/4 PPPD Act 18,20,38,39 ULAP Act. Asia Andrabi and her 2 associates Nahida and Fahmeeda are presently lodged in Tihar Jail and the charges have been framed through video conferencing. Earlier the case was presented in the court on 6/12/2018 and after a gap of almost 3 years charge sheet against all the 9 accused including Dukhtarn-e-Millat Chief Asia Andrabi have been framed.
Asiya Andrabi and other accused have been charged of hatching a criminal conspiracy against the country and disturbing law and order. They have been also charged of instigating unruly mob armed with stones and stone pelting on moving private and police vehicles and security forces. Asiya and others have been also framed of instigating Students who resorted to violence and raised slogans in favor of Militant Commander Zakir Moosa.
