Srinagar, Nov 15 : Body of an elderly mentally challenged woman was found in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening.
A police official told GNS that the body was spotted by some passersby in Rajpora, following which a team visited the site and took the body into its possession.
Identifying the deceased as Azi Begum, 65, wife of Ghulam Ahmad Dar, resident of Akhal Rajpora, the official said that the family had reported about her missing on November 8, 2011.
The body was handed over to the family after conducting necessary medico-legal formalities, the official added. (GNS)
