Singhpora, Feb, 24;A three year old boy namely Hadi Ali S/O Shabir Ahmed Wailoo R/O KP Payeen Hanjiwera was today early morning attacked by dogs at KP Payeen Hanjiwera Singhpora and was seriously injured.
People claimed that this is the second attack by the dogs in the same area this month and nothing has been done for the safety of people in the area after the last attack in which a 16 year old was killed after attacked by these dogs.
People chanted slogans against Municipality Pattan & Municipality Srinagar at KP Payeen Hanjivera as the said municipalities drop these dogs in their vehicles after catching them from their respective municipal areas.
They claimed that they see many municipal vehicles on regular basis dropping dogs around Jeel Bridge area which creates nuisance for the local residents and requested the Tehsil administration to look into the matter immediately.
Soon after the protest , Tehsildar Singhpora Saqib Murtaza reached to the spot along with Pattan & Mirgund police and assured the protesters that he will himself monitor the issue and any vehicle caught doing such activity will be seized on the spot along with other action against the caught employees.
