Anantnag: DDC member Achabal Sameena Hussain Suharwardy greeted people on Shab e Mehraj and hoped that the auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace and development in the Asian subcontinent and especially Jammu and Kashmir.
She described the occasion as an opportunity to seek Allahâ s mercy and pray for peace and well-being of the entire humanity and during the holly night of prayers we should vow to become passionate and work towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity among the people.
Let us all come together and take oath on this auspicious night to always follow the path shown by Prophet Muhammad.
She said the night of Mehraj is a sacred occasion to seek blessings and forgiveness of Allah.
