Srinagar, March 07: A 20-year old girl has succumbed to her injuries at SMHS hospital here taking the death toll to two in Amira Kadal grenade blast, officials said.
Medical superintendent SMHS Dr Kawaljeet Singh told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a girl identified as Rafiya daughter of Nazir Ahmad Tinda, a resident of Hazratbal Srinagar succumbed early morning. “Rafiya was injured in the grenade blast and had received serious brain injuries in the blast on Sunday” he said.
Pertinently, militants lobbed a grenade in the busy Amira Kadal Market on Sunday. In this incident a civilian from Srinagar was killed and 24 others including a cop received injuries
Police have registered a case under various sections of law and further investigations are on. (KDC)
