Srinagar, Mar, 07: Engagement of Special Police Officer (SPO’s) under Sports Quota in J&K Armed Police.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Male/ Female as per the games indicated against each) of UT J&K for filling up of 55 posts (likely to be increased) of Special Police Officer (SPO) under Sports Quota in Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police purely on temporary basis and entitled to benefits laid down under rules as per the Govt. Order No. 889 of 2019 dated 04-08-2019.
The engagement of SPOs will be made as per the standing guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, GOI enumerated as under:

Qualification:
The candidate should have passed Matriculation examination from any Govt. recognized board or equivalent by or before the cutoff date for submission of application forms.
Note:
Candidates who have already applied in pursuance to the advertisement issued by the Ex-chairman (Commandant JKAP-8th Bn.) Vide No:
CS-86/Adv/SPO/AP-8th/20/266-78 dated; 24-02-2020, are advised to apply again in terms of this advertisement. It is further clarified that the selection will be made strictly/ exclusively as per criteria laid down in present advertisement notice.
Incomplete application form in any respect shall not be entertained.
The recruitment is only for meritorious sportspersons who are either medal winner/ position holders.
Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in Indian Territory and abroad.
The engagement is purely on temporary basis and this shall have no claim for permanent absorption. Authority completent shall reserve the right to terminate the engagement at any time without notice.
Only eligible candidates who have represented state or at National Level shall be called for Physical/ Skill Test.
The candidates who shall apply for the post have to appear before the Board on the dates mentioned separately on their own risk and cost, Department shall not bear the expenses.
The Department shall reserve the right to cancel the process without any notice to candidates.
