Kishtwar, Mar 25: Jammu and Kashmir police in Kishtwar district alongwith Army on Friday busted a militant hideout and recovered arms and ammunition.
In an official statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), spokesman said that said that Kishtwar police on a specific information launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) along with 11 RR in general area of Tillar forest of Marwah in which a hideout was busted and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
The recovered arms and ammunition include one pistol, eight pistol rounds, one Chinese grenade, three UBGL grenades, three RPG rounds, three explosive sticks, one remote IED and one pressure cooker, police said, adding that further searches in the area are going on—(KNO)
