SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 11: Qazi Mufti Tariq-ur-Rehmani of Palhallan, Pattan, Baramulla, has been appointed as Coordinator for Religious Affairs, North Kashmir, in the Muslim Personal Law Board, Jammu & Kashmir, with immediate effect.
The appointment has been made in the interest of organisational strengthening and to ensure effective coordination of religious affairs across North Kashmir.
As Coordinator, Qazi Mufti Tariq-ur-Rehmani will facilitate coordination with religious scholars, Ulema and religious institutions across the region. He will also work towards promoting constructive engagement among different schools of thought, preserving Islamic teachings, fostering religious harmony and advancing community welfare.
According to the appointment order, he will discharge his responsibilities in consultation with the concerned organisational leadership and submit necessary reports and recommendations through the prescribed organisational channel.
The appointment has been approved by Chairman Nasir ul Islam Farooqi, Vice Chairman Syed Mohammad Aslam Andrabi and North Kashmir Organiser Er Wali Mohammad Dar. The order shall remain in effect until further orders.
