Qazigund, May, 14: A National Lok Adalat was held at Qazigund under the chairmanship of Karan Bijyal, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (Munsif JMIC Qazigund) on Saturday.
A total of 684 Cases were taken up in the said Lok Adalat out of which 435 cases have been settled by Mediation and reconciliation with a settlement amount of Rs. 54,400 has been recovered as fine and same has been deposited in Government Treasury
In the said National Lok Adalat Traffic Challan, Bank Cases, MACT Cases, Electricity cases, Water bills, family disputes and revenue cases were taken up.
