Shopian, May 20: At least 8 persons received minor injuries after a vehicle turns down a road in Padpawan area of Shopian district on Friday.
An official told Kashmir News Apex (KNA) said that a zylo bearing registeration number Jk02AP 5890 turned down the road due to overspeed in Padpawan.
He said that in the incident at least eight persons received minor injuries who were shifted to district hospital Shopian where their condition is stable.
He identified injured persons as Ab Gani son of Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad ishaq, Shaista Akhter wife of Riyaz Ahmed, Nusrat jan daughter of Riyaz Ahmed, Iqbala Bibi wife of Mohammad Ishaq, Aasiya jan daughter of Ab Gani, Rizwan Ahmad son of Ab Razaq and Shamima Bano wife of Ab Gani.
Meanwhile police has taken up cognizance of the incident and started investigation. (KNA)
