Srinagar, May 24: A policeman along with his daughter were injured after suspected militants on tuesday fired upon him in Soura area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said.
A top police officer told GNS that militants fired upon the cop near Soura. In this incident cop as well his daughter recieved bullet wounds.
Both have been shifted to SKIMS hospital for treatment, where the condition of the cop is stated to be serious,the officer added.
The cop has been identified as Saifulla Qadri son of Mohd Syed Qadri resident of Malik Sahib Soura.
Soon after the incident whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. Details emerging. (GNS)
