Srinagar, May 26: Authorities have launched a rescue operation after an 18-year-old boy drowned in river Chenab in Akhnoor area of Jammu district.
An official told GNS that one Ankush Sharma, Resident of Gayanti Gorti Akhnoor drowned in River Chenab, near old Bridge Akhnoor this afternoon. Following the incident, SDRF and Police launched a search and rescue operation at the site.
The rescue operation continued, when this report was being filed. (GNS)
