Srinagar, Nov 19: The army on Saturday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing a militant who had tried to negotiate minefield along the Line of Control in Naushera sector of Rajouri district.
In a statement, issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Jammu based defence spokesperson said that on the intervening night of November 17 and 18 an infiltration bid was foiled in Naushera sector.
He said a militant was killed after he tried to negotiate the minefield along the LoC.
He added the dead body of the militant was recovered today along with warlike stores—(KNO)
