Srinagar, June 8: A policeman was found dead in a hotel in the Mehjoor Nagar area of Srinagar uptown on Thursday.
The cop has been identified as Shuja Ali, a resident of Lal Bazar area of Srinagar.
Station House Officer, Police Station Sadar Mudasir Ahmed confirmed to news agency Kashmir News Trust saying that the deceased cop was an armed policeman.
He said an investigation has been started under relevant sections of law.
