Thanking JK UT Administration for Allowing the 8th Moharram Procession from Guru Bazar to Dalgate

Srinagar, July 27: Blessing Kashmir (Social Work Organization) extends its profound gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi, Hon’ble LG Sh Manoj Sinha, the JK UT administration and its BJP JKUT Unit esteemed leaders for granting permission for the 8th Moharram Procession from Guru Bazar to Dalgate after an awaited 34 years. Today marks a historic moment for us as we come together to express our joy and appreciation for the successful outcome of our persistent efforts.
We wish to acknowledge the unwavering support and understanding of the Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Manoj Sinha Sahab, who recognized the significance of this religious procession to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. His leadership has been instrumental in making this procession possible, fostering a sense of unity and community among the residents.
Special recognition goes to Mr. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri Sahab, the Div Com Kashmir, whose invaluable efforts and cooperation ensured the smooth conduct of the procession. His commitment to maintaining peace and harmony in the region has been praiseworthy and has contributed significantly to the realization of this momentous event.
The dedication and meticulous planning of the Director General (DG) and Additional Director General (ADG) played a crucial role in addressing logistical challenges and ensuring the safety of all participants during the procession.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Ashok Koul Sahab, a prominent leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Thakur Abhijeet Jasrotia Spokesperson BJP for his unwavering support and advocacy for our cause. His understanding of the procession’s importance and relentless efforts were invaluable in gaining the necessary approval.
