Handwara: A youth,who was seriously injured in a road accident on friday evening at Badrah Payeen crossing Kralgund in North Kashmir’s Kupwara District, succumbed at SKIMS Soura Srinagar on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as 18 yrs Ikhlaq Ahmad Mir son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, resident of Thokerpora area of Kralgund.
Ikhlaq was seriously injured on August 4 on the Baramulla _ Handwara highway near Badrah Payeen Crossing Kralgund.
He was shifted to Sub Sub Hospital District Kralgund from where he was reffered to District Hospital Handwara and then referred to SKIMS Srinagar in critical condition where he succumbed this morning, police officials told Correspondent .
The body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
In this regard a case stands already registered in police station Kralgund.
