Srinagar, Sept 08 : Police along with Army apprehended a hybrid militant and his associate in Pakharpora area of Budgam district on Friday.
In a statement, a spokesperson said that the duo has been identified as Tanveer Ahmad Bhat and his associate Yawer Maqbool Ganai.
The statement reads that preliminary investigation revealed that the duo was operating with TRF in Pakherpora area.
“From their possession, arms & ammunition including a pistol, pistol magazine, 9 rounds and other incriminating material were recovered.”
It added that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
