Srinagar, June 17: A Terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and Terrorists in the Aragam area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on Monday.
A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll said that One terrorist was been killed by security forces who has been identified as Umar Akbar Lone alias Jafer from Pattan.
Earlier Officials said that search operation was laid in the area on specific input and as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.
A top police officer has confirmed to Kashmir Scroll about the killing and identity of a terrorist.(KS)
