Kulgam, July, 11: The administration conducted a demolition drive in the areas of Kilam and Akhran area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Officials told that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, a team of the revenue department led by Tehsildar Devsar Raqib Ahmad Ganie along with Naib Tehsildar Kilam, Irshad Hussain, and police carried out a demolition drive in different areas in Devsar Tehsil and demolished various structures which were raised illegally.
Tehsildar Devsar warned that nobody will allowed to raise any structure without permission from the competent authority. “These violators were informed time to time not to raise structures illegally and now officials were being forced to act tough,” the official said.
He said that the admin demolished structures in area and in other parts, while warning, “such structures will be dismantled as well. “
