Kulgam, july 19: Three residential house were damaged after a fire broke out at Razloo Kund area of Kulgam district on Friday late midnight.
An official told that the fire engulfed three residential house at around 3:30 am and caused significant damage to its roofing, ceilings, windows, and doors.
He said the houses were owned by 1) Ashiq Hussain s/o Ghulam Ahmad shan, 2) Gull Mohd Shan s/o Gh Mohd Shan, 3) Mohd Rafiq Shan s/o Ghulam Ahmad shan and 4) Abdul Rehman wani s/o Ghulam Hassan Wani, residents of Razloo Kund, of Kulgam.
“Timely intervention of firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent localities”, he said.
The official said the cause of fire was being ascertained.
