Three dead bodies were recovered from Dal Lake area of Central Kashmir in Srinagar district on Saturday.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that three bodies were found in Dal Lake at Foreshore road near Shalimar ghat.
Srinagar Police official said that they recovered three dead bodies from the Dal Lake area this evening. The deceased include a female (aged about 28 years old) and two minor children, one male and one female.
In this regard, police have taken cognizance and proceedings under relevant sections of law have been initiated. Further investigation into the matter is going on, police said.
The dead bodies have been shifted to SMHS hospital for post-mortem examination, he added.(KS)
