Anantnag August 14: A massive Har Ghar Tiranga Rally with thousands of people in attendance was held today in Anantnag.
The rally was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner Ananthag from the Sports Stadium.
The rally started from the Sports Stadium Anantnag and passed through the main town
Anantnag participants were carrying the national flag proudly and sang patriotic songs.
The rally was attended by senior government officials, public representaives, conoemed
citizens, and members of Trade associations. The patriotic fervour and enthusiasm was seen in every participant.
At the start of the rally, the Deputy Commissioner administered a pledge to the participants and paid tribute to the freedom fighters who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Notably, the Har Ghar Tiranga is an initiative of the Ministry of Cuture and the idea behind
the initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to
promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
