Khumriyal, Kupwara, November 2, 2024 – Anhad Community Centre, a leading community organization in Khumriyal, Kupwara, organized a thought-provoking lecture on “Current Trends and Issues in Artificial Intelligence” today. The session was delivered by Mr. Basharat Ahmad Mir, a renowned Software Engineer at Trip AI Technology, USA.

Mr. Mir, an esteemed expert in the field of Artificial Intelligence, shared valuable insights on the current applications and future prospects of AI. He highlighted various sectors where AI is being extensively used, including healthcare, finance, education, and transportation.

During the lecture, Mr. Mir also delved into the realm of Machine Learning and its significance in AI. He explained the concepts of Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing, citing examples of cutting-edge technologies like DeepL translating software.

The session was attended by 30 students from the centre and staff members, who actively participated in the discussion and posed thoughtful questions. Mr. Mir’s engaging presentation sparked interest and enthusiasm among the attendees, inspiring them to explore the vast potential of AI.

“We are grateful to Mr. Basharat Ahmad Mir for sharing his expertise with our students and staff,” said Ishfaq Ahmad Mir , Computer teacher , Anhad Community Centre. “This lecture has provided a unique opportunity for our community to learn about the latest advancements in AI and its implications for the future.”

The event aligns with Anhad Community Centre’s mission to promote education, innovation, and community development. The centre aims to organize more such knowledge-sharing sessions to empower the local youth with cutting-edge skills and knowledge.
