Kulgam, Nov, 06: The Managing Director of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), G.N. Itoo, today visited the Kulgam district to inspect several ongoing water supply projects aimed at providing clean and reliable drinking water to local communities. During his visit, Itoo assessed the progress of various works and emphasized the importance of adhering to deadlines to ensure that all projects are completed on time.
Accompanied by senior officials, the MD toured multiple project sites where significant infrastructure development is underway. He interacted with the field staff, engineers, and contractors, urging them to maintain quality while expediting work to avoid delays.
“I urge all officials and contractors involved in these projects to ensure that they are completed within the set timelines. Our goal is to provide fresh and safe drinking water to every household in Kulgam, and this can only be achieved through focused and timely efforts,” said Itoo.
Officials were directed to monitor the quality of work closely and take corrective actions whenever necessary. The MD also emphasized the need for coordination between various departments to avoid bottlenecks and ensure smooth execution of the projects.
