However, there have been concerns regarding whether India would travel to Pakistan to play the tournament, considering the strained political relations between the two neighboring nations. It looks like India have finally made a decision.

India have decided not to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. According to a report by Indian Express, the BCCI have written to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), expressing security concerns about travelling to the country. They want their matches to be played in the city of Dubai.

“This has been our stance and there is no reason to change that. We have written to them and asked them to shift our games to Dubai,” a source close to the proceedings informed the publication.

According to a report by news agency PTI, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have agreed to make ‘adjustments’ and approve ta hybrid model from the Champions Trophy 2025, should the Government of India not clear the team to visit Pakistan. In that case, India will play their matches in the UAE, either in Dubai or in Sharjah.

“The PCB feels that even if Indian government does not clear the tour to Pakistan slight adjustments can be made to the schedule, as in all probability India would play its matches in Dubai or Sharjah,” a source close to te developments informed PTI.
