Srinagar, Nov, 08: SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir, Shri Ravinder Pal Singh, accompanied by DSP Traffic for North Kashmir, Mujahid Nazir, conducted a thorough inspection in Pattan, Baramulla, to assess the traffic situation, responding to growing concerns among commuters. The visit aimed to address the difficulties faced by passengers navigating the area’s congested roads.
During the inspection, SSP Ravinder Pal Singh and DSP Mujahid Nazir interacted with commuters, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic regulations. Several drivers were issued challans for failing to produce necessary documents, underscoring the authorities’ commitment to enforcing traffic laws.
In addition, the officials urged local vendors not to obstruct roadways with their stalls, as such practices impede traffic flow and pose safety hazards. SSP Ravinder Pal Singh reiterated the need for cooperation from all stakeholders to ensure smooth vehicular movement in the region.
Expressing frustration over the persistent lack of compliance with traffic rules, SSP Ravinder Pal Singh warned of stringent legal action against drivers found in violation of regulations. Despite continuous efforts to educate the public, non-compliance remains a significant challenge, underscoring the need for sustained enforcement measures.
