Kulgam, Nov, 15: In a momentous occasion for the people of Kulgam, the Minister for Education, Health & Social Welfare, Sakeena Masood, along with SDM Noorabad, Bashir ul Hassan, today inaugurated the Shaheed Wali Mohd Itoo Memorial Bridge at Aadigen, D.H. Pora. The bridge, now dedicated to the public, is named in honor of the late Shaheed Wali Mohd Itoo, a prominent figure who made significant contributions to the development and welfare of the constituency.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration, Minister Sakeena Masood paid tribute to Shaheed Wali Mohd Itoo, recognizing his immense efforts and the lasting impact he had on the local community. “Shaheed Wali Mohd Itoo did a lot of work for this constituency, and his dedication to the welfare of the people is something we will always remember and cherish,” said Masood.

She also expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the Public Works Department (PWD) South Kashmir, the executing agency responsible for the construction of the bridge. “This bridge is a result of hard work and dedication, and I commend the PWD for their role in making this project a reality,” Masood said, highlighting the importance of such infrastructure in improving connectivity and contributing to regional development.

The bridge is expected to significantly improve access for local residents, easing transportation and fostering economic and social growth in the area. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several local officials, community leaders, and a large number of residents, all of whom celebrated the successful completion of the much-anticipated project.

The Shaheed Wali Mohd Itoo Memorial Bridge stands not only as a symbol of progress but also as a lasting tribute to the legacy of a man who dedicated his life to the service of his people.
