Pattan, Nov,21: On the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and Force Head Quarter Sashastra Seema Bal, New Delhi, 02 BN SSB, Pattan, Baramulla (&K) organized 07 Days Bharat Darshan Tour programme w.e.f. 21.11.2024 to 27.11.2024 to visit Delhi-Hyderabad & Back for 29 youths of Kashmir valley with the motto of “Service, Security and Brotherhood”. Sh. Imtiaz Ismail Parray,IPS, DIG, SHQ (Spl. Ops) SB Srinagar graced the occasion of opening ceremony of the said tour as a chief guest. In the opening ceremony, Sh. Gurinderpal Singh, IPS, SSP Baramulla, Sh. Asheesh Nathani, Commandant, Sh. Hari Charan Prasad, Second-in-Command, Sh. Santosh Kumar, Deputy Commandant, Sh. Deepak Tomer, Dy. Commandant, Sh. Amit Kumar Sonkar, Deputy Commandant, Dr. Sudharshan Reddy PR, ACMO, Sh. Shahjahn Choudhary, SDPO Pattan and Officials of 02 Bn. SSB, Pattan and Media persons were present.
Sh. Ashessh Naithani, Commandant, 02 Bn SSB Pattan welcomed the Chief guest, other guests and al 29 selected participants and said that this si 07 Days tour to Delhi and Hyderabad w.e.f 21/11/2024 to 27/11/2024. A
group of 29 students will embark on a 07 Days educational tour to some of India’s most iconic cities- Delhi and Hyderabad and will return to their hometowns on 27/11/2024 after an enriching experience. This program has been designed to provide students/youths from Kashmir with the opportunity to explore India’s rich cultural heritage, diverse history and technological advancements, giving them first-hand exposure to different regions of the country.
Key highlights of the Bharat Darshan Tour:-
• Duration: 7 Days w.e.f. 21/11/2024 to 27/11/2024
• Cities to Visit: Delhi and Hyderabad
• Participants: 29 youths/students from various villages across the Kashmir Valley
• Purpose: To promote national integration, cultural exchange, and exposure to India’s historical landmarks and technological hubs.
• Itinerary Includes:
1. Visit to historical monuments such as the Kartavya Path, Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Red Fort National Museum, Akshardham Temple, National Police Memorial, Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalay in Delhi
2. Exploration of Hyderabad’s Charminar, Golconda Fort, Ramoji Film City, Salar Jung Museum, Chowmahalla Palace, KBR National Park
3. Meeting with the DG SSB at Force Headquarter SSB New Delhi.
Chief guest Sh. Imtiaz Ismail Parray, IPS, DIG, SHQ (Spl. Ops) SSB Srinagar extended gratitude towards the parents of the participants for believing in the force and allowing their wards for participating in the said event. He also added that This Bharat Darshan Tour is an initiative under the Ministry of Home Affairs aimed at fostering national unity and allowing students to experience the rich diversity of India, beyond the boundaries of their own regions. This tour is a golden opportunity for the students to gain a broader understanding of India’s heritage, meet peers from other parts of the country, and develop a sense of pride in being part of a united nation. He also said that SSB will organize such more programmes in near future.
Thereafter, Chief Guest sent of the tour team with the green flag and wishes students a safe, joyful, and educational journey.
