Cabinet Minister Sakina Masood visited the District Hospital in Kulgam today, accompanied by MLA Devsar, District Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), and the Medical Superintendent, to assess the hospital’s readiness in the aftermath of the recent snowfall.
During the visit, the Minister thoroughly inspected various hospital facilities, including the availability of doctors, functioning of heating systems, and the overall condition of the infrastructure. She was briefed by hospital authorities on the ongoing services and arrangements made to ensure smooth operations during adverse weather.
Minister Masood expressed her satisfaction with the hospital’s preparedness, stating that all critical services were fully operational. She praised the hospital staff for their efforts in maintaining a comfortable environment, highlighting the efficient heating systems that were keeping the facility warm for both patients and healthcare workers.
The Minister also emphasized the government’s continuous efforts to enhance healthcare services in the region, assuring the public that all necessary measures would be taken to address any challenges posed by the harsh winter conditions.
The visit concluded with Minister Masood reaffirming her commitment to ensuring the availability of essential healthcare services in Kulgam, regardless of the weather conditions.
