Addressing the public, SSP Ravinder Pal Singh emphasized the importance of road safety, urging motorists to wear helmets and seat belts and warning of strict action against those flouting traffic rules. He also underscored the legal consequences for parents who allow minors to drive without valid licenses.
Traffic violators were also sensitized about the Motor Vehicles Act and road safety regulations to minimize the risk of accidents.
