Jammu, February 27 : A Driver was killed after a private vehicle attached to CRPF came under shooting stone near Madana Zirat area of Surankote in Poonch district on Thursday.
Officials said that a private scoripio vehicle attached to CRPF 38 BN was hit by shooting stone on Poonch Highway near Madana Zairat.
In this incident one person (Driver) was killed, his body has been shifted to nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities. The deceased has been identified as Wahid Iqbal resident of Upper Surankote.
Two other occupants (CRPF Personnel) miraculously were found unhurt during rescue operation, they said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
