Baramulla, April 04: The District Administration Baramulla organized a farewell function at Dak Bungalow Baramulla to honor the outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina and to welcome the newly appointed ADC, Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gulmarg, Mir Jaliel Ahmed.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, presided over the event and lauded the exemplary service of Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina, acknowledging his dedication, efficiency, and commitment to public welfare. He highlighted Dr. Raina’s instrumental role in ensuring smooth governance, timely execution of development projects, and effective public grievance redressal. The DC also praised Dr. Raina’s contribution to revenue administration, particularly in land acquisition cases, dispute resolution, and strengthening revenue records. Additionally, his efforts in overseeing election-related duties, ensuring smooth conduct of polling, and maintaining coordination with various departments were appreciated. The DC expressed gratitude for Dr. Raina’s contributions and wished him success in his future endeavors.

On the occasion the outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Raina spoke on the occasion, expressing gratitude for the support and cooperation received during his tenure in Baramulla. He acknowledged the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa, describing him as an inspiring and dynamic leader under whom the district administration has made significant strides in governance and public service.

Speaking on the occasion, ADC Sopore S.A. Raina, newly appointed ADC Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi, Joint Director Planning Javed Ahmad, and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Arshad Ahmad Khan,Dy SP HQ Baramulla ,Altaf Ahmad Khan also lauded the dedicated services of Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina. They commended his professionalism, administrative acumen, and people-centric approach, highlighting his pivotal role in addressing public grievances, handling revenue matters efficiently, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments.

Earlier, Joint Director Planning Baramulla, Javed Ahmad, welcomed the participants, while Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Baramulla, Arshad Ahmad Khan, delivered the vote of thanks.

As a mark of appreciation, mementos were presented to both the outgoing and incoming officers by the district officers and officials.
