Kulgam: Security measures have been significantly ramped up in Kulgam ahead of the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, scheduled from April 6-8. In preparation for the high-profile visit, the local police, under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, have launched extensive security operations across the district.
The security operations, which included thorough vehicle inspections and identity checks, were conducted throughout the main town. These efforts are aimed at maintaining public safety and ensuring that all necessary precautions are in place during the event.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters and the Station House Officer (SHO) Kulgam were also present to oversee the security measures, ensuring their effective implementation. The authorities have emphasized that the enhanced security is in line with their commitment to ensuring a smooth and safe visit for Union Minister Amit Shah.
