Kulgam, April 12, 2025:World Oral Health Day 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the 18 Battalion CRPF Headquarters in Kulgam. The event, held under the theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind”, aimed to highlight the strong link between oral health and overall well-being.
Organized on the directions of Chief Medical Officer Kulgam, Dr. Shawkat Hussain Parray, and Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kulgam, Dr. A.G. Raina, the event witnessed active participation from CRPF personnel and medical professionals alike.
A dedicated team of specialist doctors from District Hospital Kulgam, led by Dr. Anjum, conducted a comprehensive dental health camp. The program included dental check-ups, awareness sessions, and interactive discussions on preventive oral care practices.
The initiative focused on educating the CRPF personnel about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and its positive impact on both mental and physical fitness. Participants expressed appreciation for the informative sessions and the hands-on care provided by the medical team.
This joint effort by the CRPF and the District Health Department showcases a strong commitment to enhancing health awareness and promoting preventive healthcare among security forces stationed in the region.
