Singhpora, April 16: In a major anti-encroachment drive, Tehsildar Singhpora, Haroon Rashid, successfully retrieved two kanals of state land from illegal occupation in the Hartrath Singhpora area.
The reclaimed land has been officially handed over to the Block Development Office Singhpora for the construction of a Panchayat Ghar.
The operation was carried out in the presence of police personnel and other officials.
Talking to media, Tehsildar Haroon Rashid made it clear that no one will be allowed to encroach upon state land in the Singhpora tehsil.
Meanwhile, a local resident alleged that authorities are only targeting middle-class individuals while ignoring encroachments by influential people. In response, the Tehsildar firmly stated that no one will be allowed to occupy state land unlawfully, and land will be reclaimed from everyone, regardless of their status.
