Srinagar, April 27:Pakistani Army posts resorted to unprovoked small arms fire across the Line of Control (LoC) during the intervening night of April 26-27 in areas opposite Tutmari Gali and Rampur sectors of Uri and Kupwara.
Army officials told news agency JKNS that Indian troops responded promptly and effectively with appropriate retaliatory fire.
There were no reports of any casualties or major damage on the Indian side. Further monitoring of the situation continues, officials added. (JKNS)
