Emotional Farewell Bids Adieu to 10 Dedicated Officials at FCS&CA Pulwama

Pulwama, April 30:  In a warm and heartfelt farewell function held at the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department Pulwama, Ten dedicated officials were given an emotional send-off upon their superannuation. The Department gathered to honor the tireless services of these officials who served the department with commitment, integrity, and professionalism for decades.

The officials who retired from their distinguished services include Mohd Sadiq Kar, Assistant Accounts Officer; Gh Hassan Bhat, TSO Aripal; Ab Gani Dar, TSO Rajpora & Rahmoo; Mohd Maqbool Malik, TSO Litter; Mohd Shafiq Bhat, TSO GD Pulwama; Mohd Yasin Sofi, TSO Tral A; Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, TSO Noorpora; Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, Storekeeper; Mohd Yaqoob Hajam, MTS; and Mohd Amin Dar, MTS.

During the farewell ceremony, Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs) shared the journey of their decades-long service. They reflected upon their experiences, challenges, and achievements, expressing gratitude for the camaraderie and cooperation received throughout their careers.

It was an emotional moments for TSOs while recalling the cherished moments they spent in the department, evoking similar sentiments among their colleagues.

The retiring officials, while addressing the gathering, advised junior staff members to uphold honesty, transparency, and dedication in their duties. They emphasized that public service demands sincerity and integrity, and encouraged the younger generation to serve the people with a sense of responsibility.

Mohd Sadiq Kar, the retiring Assistant Accounts Officer, also addressed the gathering and threw light on his long tenure in the department. He highlighted the evolution of the department over the years and expressed pride in having been part of its growth and development.

The event concluded with a formal address by the Assistant Director, FCS&CA Pulwama, who expressed deep appreciation for the retiring employees. He lauded their invaluable contributions and commitment to the department. The Assistant Director also recalled several fond memories and professional milestones achieved with the help of the outgoing staff. He conveyed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the entire department and wished the retirees a happy, healthy, and peaceful post-retirement life.

The ceremony served not just as a farewell but also as a reminder of the vital role played by dedicated officials in ensuring the smooth functioning of public service departments. The event ended with the presentation of mementos and a group photograph marking the occasion.
