Pulwama, Aug 20 : A four-year-old boy drowned in a water body in Medoora Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Ayaan Nisar, son of Nisar Ahmad of Medoora. Locals said the boy accidentally slipped into the water and could not be saved in time.
He was retrieved and rushed to a nearby health facility, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The sudden death of the minor has left the family and residents of the locality deeply distressed. [[KNT]
