Budgam, Aug 21: In a vibrant display of school-community collaboration, PM Shri High School, Sugin Khag, hosted a grand Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) that witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 parents. Held in the heart of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, the event reflected the school’s deep-rooted connection with the local community.

The meeting was elevated by the presence of several esteemed dignitaries, including Hon’ble MLA Khan Sahib, Advocate Saifuddin Bhat, and Zonal Educational Officer (ZEO) Khag, Mr. Sheikh Zahoor. In their addresses, the guests underscored the vital role of parental engagement in a child’s academic journey and emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts between schools and communities.

One of the key highlights of the event was the impressive display of departmental stalls showcasing students’ projects in science, culture, and modern technology. These exhibits offered a glimpse into the academic and creative capabilities of the students, garnering wide appreciation from the visitors.

The PTM served as a platform for open and constructive discussions between parents, teachers, and education officials. Various strategies to strengthen the home-school partnership were deliberated upon, with guests applauding the teachers’ commitment to maintaining active communication with families.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was also in focus during the speeches delivered by MLA KhanSahib and Advocate Saifuddin Bhat. They hailed the policy as a transformative step toward inclusive education, skill enhancement, and holistic student development.

ZEO Khag Mr. Sheikh Zahoor emphasized the necessity of maintaining robust communication channels between parents and educators. He advocated for a nurturing learning environment that thrives on mutual understanding and shared goals.

The event concluded on a high note, with renewed pledges from all stakeholders to work collectively toward the academic success and personal growth of every student.
