Pattan, Sep 07 :- The Janata Dal United (JDU) organized a workers’ convention at Singpora Pattan, which witnessed an impressive gathering of party workers, supporters, and local residents. The event was presided over by JDU State President, Mr. G.M. Shaheen, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the party’s vision, policies, and commitment towards the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shaheen emphasized the importance of strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring that the voices of the common people are heard. He stated that JDU has always stood for unity, development, and social justice, and the party remains committed to working for the welfare of every section of society.

The convention was also attended by senior party leaders and dedicated workers, who reiterated their commitment to the party’s mission. They stressed on the need to take JDU’s message to the grassroots level and to mobilize the youth in particular, so they can play a constructive role in shaping a better future for the region.

During the event, a significant number of people from different walks of life announced their decision to join the JDU. Welcoming the new entrants, Mr. Shaheen assured them that the party provides equal opportunities for all members and values the contribution of every individual. He further encouraged them to actively participate in party activities and serve the people with sincerity and dedication.

The convention concluded on a positive note, with renewed energy and enthusiasm among workers. Participants pledged to strengthen the JDU at every level and to carry forward its agenda of peace, progress, and inclusive development. The large turnout and fresh inductions reflected growing public trust in the leadership of JDU and its vision for the future of Jammu and Kashmir.
