ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 10: The IRP-10th Battalion successfully organized a School Bag distribution programme under the Civil Action Programme (CAP) at Govt. High and Middle School, Mattan Anantnag.
During the event, Imtiaz Ahmad, SP (Dy. CO), along with other officers under the command and control of the Commandant IRP-10th Battalion, distributed (150) School Bags among the students of both the schools.
The Initiative was aimed at encouraging students to pursue education and to extent welfare support to children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Addressing the audiences, Imtiaz Ahmad urged the youth to stay away from drug abuse and other harmful activities, and to focus on their education and future.
The event is a part of the continuous efforts of J&K Police to strengthen the police-public bond and to narrow the gap between public and Police, and to lure the student to join the Police department.
