Srinagar, Sept 18 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his advisor Nasir Aslam Wani will not take part in the International French Travel Market (IFTM) Top Resa Tourism Fair scheduled in Paris from September 23 to 25, officials said on Wednesday.
Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani told that a group of officers from Jammu and Kashmir will attend the fair on behalf of the government. He said the Chief Minister and he would remain in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The government has decided to depute officers instead of the Chief Minister and me,” Wani said and added that the officers will present Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism sector at the event with the aim of drawing more visitors from abroad.(KNS).
